So we’re on time for once haha
Please check your emails! I’m not sure if all the emails were received last time or if replies were lost but be sure to update us on your progress.
Additionally, if anyone needs to drop pages, please let us know ASAP since a few people seemed interested in taking on more pages.
Thanks everyone!
For everyone’s convenience! Progress checks will consist of us emailing each participating member and just asking for an update on the number of pages completed. Later checks will determine if we can print earlier than expected (but only if everyone is ready!) If you ever need to check in, be it brainstorming, questions/concerns, etc. you can do so any time by emailing moriartea@yahoo.com Good luck everyone and have fun!! :)
**If you’re on this list and did not received an email with an overview of the project, please message this account with the email address you check most often. **
Also tracking “sidewiththeangels” might be a good way to see when we’ve updated if you miss updates on your dash or forget to check.
Alright! Sign ups ended last week with a great deal more applicants than any of us expected! That alone was exciting, but with so many talented entries, it was difficult to narrow it down. While we’d love for everyone to be able to participate, costs make that near impossible at the moment.
Below the cut are the names of those who will be in the book. We’re in the process of emailing everyone who applied right now about the status of their entry to the project. The email will also include more in depth technical details about the project. If you’re listed below and do not receive an email by Monday, please send a note here. As always, if you have any questions, or if you’re unable/unwilling to continue with the project, please send a note here or an email to moriartea@yahoo.com
"Sign ups close on February 11th at 11:59 pm PST or if artist cap is met, whichever occurs first." Just as a point of reference, what's the artist cap? This project sounds like a great deal of fun :)
The artist cap is sort of pending at the moment, mostly because the number of pages assigned per artist is “5-10” so more than the anticipated number of artists could be added. Right now, the goal is 100-110 pages total, so the cap is just there as a last resort. (Ideally, I’d like everyone to have at least 5 pages, so they can have room to work a short story if they like, and so those who are comfortable with more pages can have them.)
So by that (if my maths are right) the most that could be squeezed in right now is 22, though the ideal number would be 11-13.
Sorry that doesn’t really answer the question as clearly as I hoped! It’s sort of touch and go at the moment.
